How Much Does Balayage Cost in Singapore? (2026 Prices)

Balayage in Singapore usually costs $180 to $320. Plan on about $240 at a typical salon and about $300 for air-touch balayage.

But the same balayage starts at $160 at one well-reviewed salon on Orchard Road and $450 at another in Tiong Bahru. Here’s what each budget gets you, and the best-reviewed salons at each price, from the menus of 39 salons we checked this month.

Is it worth paying more? Balayage is hand-painted, so the result depends on the colourist more than on the product. In general, extra money buys a more experienced colourist, more time blending, and lightening that is gentler on your hair. If you have dark, long or previously coloured hair, or want a big change, that skill is worth paying for.

Air-touch balayage · Hair is blown apart for a softer blend

Long hair · Past the shoulders

Typical starting prices on Singapore salon menus, October 2026.

Cheaper and pricier areas

  • Cheapest: Orchard Road, around $220, and the city centre overall, around $240.
  • Middle: the north and east, around $270 to $275, including Tampines, around $270.
  • Priciest: the west, around $320, and the northeast, around $350.

4 things that change your bill

  1. Hair length. Long hair takes more colour and time. At salons that price by length it usually costs about $90 more, so quote your length when you book.
  2. Lightening. Dark hair may need bleaching first. Some menus include one round of lightening, others charge for it separately.
  3. Air-touch vs classic. Air-touch balayage blends more softly and usually costs about $60 more than a classic balayage.
  4. “++” prices. “$399++” means GST, and sometimes a service charge, goes on top.

Trial offers, packages, cut-and-colour bundles, men’s prices and add-ons are left out. Prices change, so treat this as a guide and confirm your price when you book.
