Makeup Artist Price Singapore: $90 to $230 a Look (2026)

A makeup artist in Singapore usually costs $90 to $230 for one event look. Plan on about $130 for party or dinner makeup at a salon and about $480 for a bride’s wedding-day makeup and hair.

But the same one-look makeup starts at $35 at one well-reviewed salon in Choa Chu Kang and $300 at a makeup studio in Chinatown. Here’s what each budget gets you, and the best-reviewed salons and studios at each price, from the menus of 30 we checked this month.

Every salon below is rated 4.7 or higher on Google with at least 100 reviews (50 in the under-$120 range), when we checked, and prices its makeup on its own menu. Tap a salon to see its full menu and request a booking.

Under $120

What to expect: mostly hair and beauty salons that add makeup to the menu, at one flat price for one look. Few salons in this range have 100 or more Google reviews, so the picks here are rated 4.7 or higher with at least 50. Ask whether false lashes are included, because some salons charge for them on top.

What to expect: where most salons sit: hair and beauty salons with a makeup artist on the team, plus the odd makeup studio. Bring a photo of the look you want, and ask whether hair styling is part of the price.

What to expect: about half are dedicated makeup studios, often the same artists brides book. Several price by artist, so a principal artist costs more than an associate. Ask who will do your makeup when you book.

Is it worth paying more? A $35 and a $300 face can use similar products. In general, extra money buys experience: an artist who knows how your skin and the camera behave, more time in the chair, and a look built to last a long day. For a dinner or a party, a well-reviewed salon is plenty. For your wedding, photos or a long day under lights, a dedicated makeup artist with a trial is worth paying for.

Cheaper and pricier areas

4 things that change your bill

  1. Hair styling. Many “from” prices are for makeup alone. With your hair styled too, expect about $180, so say whether you need both.
  2. Lashes. False lashes are sometimes extra, so ask whether they’re included in the price.
  3. The artist. Makeup studios often list a price for each level of artist, and a principal artist costs more than an associate.
  4. Weekends and home visits. Some artists charge more on weekends and public holidays, or to come to your home or hotel, so give your date, time and address when you ask.

Lessons, trials, add-ons and men’s prices are left out. Prices change, so treat this as a guide and confirm your price when you book.
