A head spa in Singapore usually costs $90 to $165. Plan on about $115 for a standard session and about $170 for a long one of 90 minutes or more.

But a head spa starts at $48 at one well-reviewed spa at Far East Plaza and $258 at another at The Heeren. Here’s what each budget gets you, and the best-reviewed places at each price, from the menus of 40 spas, salons and barbers we checked this month.

Is it worth paying more? The basics, a cleanse, a scalp massage and a rinse, are much the same everywhere. In general, extra money buys time: a longer massage, a scalp check before you start, and a quieter room. If you’re going mainly to switch off, a longer session is the part worth paying for.

What a head spa costs, by session

$65
Standard head spa · The usual “from” price
$115
90 minutes or longer · More massage, often a scalp check
$170

$220

Typical starting prices on Singapore spa, salon and barber menus, October 2026.

Cheaper and pricier areas

  • Cheapest: the east, around $100.
  • Middle: the rest of town, around $120.
  • Priciest: Orchard Road, around $135, where 14 of the 40 places we checked are.

4 things that change your bill

  1. Session length. The “from” price is usually the shortest session. A long one of 90 minutes or more is usually about $170.
  2. First-trial prices. Many spas print a cheaper first-visit price. The next visit is at the regular price, so check both.
  3. Named hair products. Adding a salon hair treatment such as Kérastase or Olaplex can double the price.
  4. Wash and blow-dry. Some prices include a blow-dry and some don’t. Ask, especially if you’re heading somewhere after.
