Is it worth paying more? The lashes and glue in a $70 and a $150 set can be similar. In general, extra money buys time and skill: more lashes placed one by one, careful isolation so your own lashes aren’t glued together, and a set that’s mapped to your eye shape. If your natural lashes are fine or you want a fuller look that lasts, that skill is worth paying for.

Cheaper and pricier areas

4 things that change your bill

  1. The style. Volume, wispy and Kim K styles use more lashes and more time, so they cost more than a classic set at the same studio.
  2. Refills. A refill usually costs about $35 less than a new set, but only within the studio’s window, often two to three weeks. Leave it longer and you may pay for a full set.
  3. Lower lashes. Lower lashes are usually charged on top of the upper set.
  4. Removal. Taking off another studio’s set is often a small extra charge, so mention it when you book.
