All 5 outlets →8 Medi-Aesthetics Centre - Emerald Hill / Cuppage
One branch of a chain with outlets across the island. Beauticians and therapists do every treatment here: facials, pigmentation and underarm work, plus fat freezing and muscle toning on machines. Nothing is injected. The team laughs and greets each arrival out loud, so it's a lively room to sit in.
Come here if
- You have back acne or marks you want to work on over a course
- You like each step explained and your skin checked on a scan
- You want to hear about packages without being pushed
Maybe not if
- You want injectables or a doctor's treatment
- You want a hushed, quiet room
What people say
Patient, unhurried staff
Your therapist asks how you're doing all through the session and takes your questions as they come.
They explain what they are doing
A first visit starts with a skin scan you can see on screen, and the consultant talks you through what it shows.
During the treatment she names each step, and you leave with tips for looking after your skin at home.
No hard sell
Package options come up once the session is over, and turning them down doesn't change how warmly you're treated on the way out.
Gentle enough to doze off
Extractions hurt less than people brace for, and if it gets too much the therapist eases off or switches the machine to a gentler mode.
The cold mask at the end is restful enough to nap through.
Acne and breakouts
Back acne is a big part of the work: a peel, extractions and a soothing mask across the whole back, with regulars carrying on for months while the marks fade.
The small extras
A cup of warm red date tea is waiting when you arrive, and the therapist works in a face massage while the mask sets.
A message follows the next day to check how your skin has settled.
Regulars who stayed
Clients keep the same therapist for years, and the team still knows them after a long gap away.
