Atelier Kogao
The studio began in 2018 as the local arm of a Ginza salon, and took its own name when that partnership ended. The small-face correction starts with your therapist working firmly by hand along your jaw, cheeks and neck, then moves to machines for the facial, with no extractions, all in a room floored with tatami.
Come here if
- You want a slimmer, more even face without needles or lasers
- You carry tension in your jaw, neck and shoulders
Maybe not if
- You want extractions; the facial here is done with machines

What people say
What changed after a few visits
After one session the face looks lifted and less puffy, and the change grows with each visit.
People who came about a lopsided face or a clenched jaw watched the two sides even out.
Getting the pressure right
The correction can hurt at first, mostly around the jaw, and your therapist goes lighter as soon as you say so.
If you like it firm, she'll keep the full strength.
They explain what they are doing
Before each step your therapist says what's coming, so the firmer moments don't catch you off guard.
The small extras
Every treatment includes a neck, shoulder and scalp massage alongside the face work.
Tea and a chocolate come out before and after the session.
Starting with a trial
Your first small-face session is priced as a trial; after that it's the regular price, or a package if you sign up for one.

Approximate prices from the salon's published menu, checked October 2026. Prices vary by the treatment, its length and any add-ons, so confirm with the salon before booking. Ask the salon about add-ons and packages. $ to $$$ compares this salon's starting prices with other Singapore salons' published menus for the same treatments: $ is the most affordable quarter, $$$ the priciest. Each menu heading rates its section's lowest full-service price; the price level at the top combines them, so it can sit between the headings.
Common questions
The things people ask before booking
Q How much is a first visit?
A first small-face session is charged at a trial price, so ask for the current one when you book. On the regular menu, the 40-minute Kogao Express small-face correction is SGD 188.
Q What happens on a first visit?
Your therapist looks at your face first, then works on your neck and shoulders, does the hand correction and finishes with the machine facial. Mention any neck or jaw problems before she starts.
Q How many sessions will I need?
There's some lift after one, but it builds over several. Therapists suggest spacing the first few about a week apart.
