Blonde and Pastel Hair Salon
Blonde and Pastel is run by a director who has been colouring hair for close to twenty years. Bleach and pastel colour make up the bulk of the work. Taking dark hair to blonde can fill most of a day, so it's a poor fit if you can spare only an hour or two.
Come here if
- Your hair is dark or dyed and you're set on pastel pink or silver
- It's your first bleach and you have a long list of questions
- Sales talk at the counter puts you off
Maybe not if
- You can spare only an hour or two for a colour

What people say
Hair that needs fixing
The stylists here fix bleach that another salon left patchy or orange.
They've taken hair dyed red for years all the way to pastel pink.
Getting the colour you wanted
Most people leave with the ash grey or milk tea blonde in their inspiration picture.
A few who asked for a light blonde or a bright pink went home with something darker or uneven, or with a shorter cut than they wanted.
Careful, detailed work
The stylist mixing your bleach shows you the Olaplex going into every round.
Patient, unhurried staff
Nobody hurries you while you settle on a shade or fuss over which strands to lighten.
The stylist works through a nervous first-timer's list of questions before any bleach goes on.
They explain what they are doing
Before a heavy bleach, they test a strand to see how much lightening your hair can take.
At the end, they tell you which shampoo will keep the colour from fading.
Styling it at home
Before you leave, the director explains how to style the new cut and look after it, so it still sits right between visits.
The room
It's a small salon on the second floor of an old shophouse.

Approximate prices from the salon's published menu, checked October 2026. Prices vary by stylist, hair length and products, so confirm with the salon before booking. $ to $$$ compares this salon's starting prices with other Singapore salons' published menus for the same treatments: $ is the most affordable quarter, $$$ the priciest. Each menu heading rates its section's lowest full-service price; the price level at the top combines them, so it can sit between the headings. See their full price list ↗
Common questions
The things people ask before booking
Q How long does a bleach take?
Plan for most of a day. Taking dark or never-coloured hair to blonde has run to five hours and more, and staff have stayed after closing to finish. Book an early slot, and bring water and a snack, as no drinks are served.
Q How much does a cut or a colour cost?
A cut is $55 with the director or $45 with a leading stylist. A colour change is $98 to $138 and babylights $100 to $148, by hair length, and hair below bra length adds $10. Children aged 5 to 11 get 20% off a weekday haircut.
Q Do I need to book ahead?
It's best to. WhatsApp +65 9023 9235 or call 6970 5718 with the time you'd like, and the salon confirms. The booking buttons on the website open a request form, not a calendar. A walk-in is taken only when a stylist happens to be free.
