Caring Skin
All 4 outlets →Caring Skin - Heartland Mall
Caring Skin opened in 2013 and now has four outlets; this one has kept regulars since before the pandemic. It does facials and extractions, with light-therapy add-ons and no injectables. A visit runs well past an hour, so book it on a free afternoon.
We specialise in treating acne and sensitive skin, using all-natural ingredients that are highly effective yet gentle on the skin.
Come here if
- You dread extractions and want them as painless as possible
- Your skin is sensitive, prone to eczema or breaking out
- You like each step explained before it happens
Maybe not if
- You want a quick facial in your lunch break
- You're after injectables - they don't do them
Known for
What guests come here for
What people say
Gentle enough to doze off
Extractions people braced for turn out barely noticeable, and plenty sleep through part of the facial.
Your therapist warns you before each new product goes on and watches how your skin takes it.
No hard sell
Regulars finishing a package haven't been pushed to renew.
After the trial the consultant shows you the packages once, and leaving without one is fine.
They explain what they are doing
The consultant who scans your skin also explains why she picked that day's treatment for it.
Some get the analysis and after-care notes sent to them on WhatsApp.
Thorough extractions
Clogged pores and blackheads come out cleanly, with little of the redness extractions can leave.
Regulars find their skin clearer and less red after a run of sessions.
Sensitive, reactive skin
Eczema, a damaged skin barrier and acne are what bring people here, and the consultant looks at your skin before choosing the treatment.
The small extras
The facial includes a shoulder and face massage, and a few leave with their eyebrows tidied.
Red date tea comes at the end, in a cup you can take with you.
The room
The beds have a duvet or a weighted blanket, and the rooms are quiet.

Common questions
The things people ask before booking
Q How much is the first visit?
The first-trial facial for acne and sensitive skin is from SGD 68 nett, with the AI skin analysis and VISIA report included. The menu lists it at 60 minutes, but with the consultation first, visits here run closer to an hour and a half.
Q Will I be pushed to sign a package?
You'll be shown the packages after the facial, then left to decide, and plenty of people leave without signing. The form you fill in before the visit asks what would make it better, which is a good place to say you'd rather skip the pitch.
Q Is it fine if I don't speak Mandarin?
Yes. The form before your visit asks which language you prefer, and English speakers are looked after in English.
