Premium Barbers
Premium Barbers has cut men's hair since 2013, mostly by women barbers who have been at it for decades, with a few men among them. Scissor cuts, beard trims and razor shaves are what they have always done, and a request for a sharp skin fade can come out closer to a buzz cut.
Come here if
- You want a scissor cut or a straight-razor shave from a barber with long experience
- You're happy to stick with one barber for years
Maybe not if
- You like the sides taken right down to bare skin

What people say
Asking for the same person
Regulars book one barber by name and keep going back to the same chair.
Walk in without one and you get whoever is free, and that is how the disappointing cuts began.
How close it comes to what you asked for
Describe the cut and you mostly get it, and visitors with Western hair have found barbers here who know what to do with it.
Several have left with a patch cut far too short, or with a style that ignored the photo they brought in.
What people say about the price
It isn't cheap for a men's cut, and plenty of regulars still think a good one here is worth the bill.
A few were surprised by the bill after adding a beard trim or shave, because the barber gave no total before starting.
Making yourself understood
You can ask for your cut in English, Mandarin or Cantonese, and the barbers chat among themselves in Cantonese.
The small extras
A cut can come with a hair wash and a neck massage, and they'll clean your ears if you ask.

Common questions
The things people ask before booking
Q How much is a haircut?
There's no price list, but customers have paid around $60 for a cut. A beard trim or shave adds to that, and the total isn't always quoted up front.
Q Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins sit with whichever barber is free. If you want Ben or Ismail in particular, message them on WhatsApp before you come.
Q Can I get a shave as well as a cut?
The barbers do beard trims, hot towel shaves and straight-razor shaves, and any of them can go on the end of a haircut.
