Revive Sanctuary
Every session here runs in a private room, and the shortest one on the menu is forty-five minutes, so there's no quick wash-and-go.
Come here if
- Your neck and shoulders need the work as much as your scalp
- Your scalp is oily or itchy
What people say
Gentle enough to doze off
The session opens with a singing bowl sounded around your head, and many people sleep through the rest.
The massage carries on down your neck and arms, and a gua sha stone may be scraped across your shoulders.
They explain what they are doing
Before the wash, the therapist photographs your scalp up close and goes over the picture with you, then takes another at the end to compare.
You get what you asked for
Ask for a firm massage and the therapist works hard on the knots in your shoulders; ask for gentle and she keeps it light.
Mid-session she asks if the pressure and the water temperature feel right.
The small extras
Staff swap your shoes for slippers and bring tea in a pot, rose or chrysanthemum.
Your hair is blow-dried at the end, and some therapists curl it for you.
How much selling to expect
Plenty of first-timers on the trial never hear a word about packages.
Others had a staff member sit down with a calculator at the end and warn, after each no, that the price would be higher next time.

Common questions
The things people ask before booking
Q What does a session cost after the trial?
The menu publishes first-visit trial prices only. Regular and package prices aren't listed, so ask what a second visit costs before you go back.
Q Which head spa should I book first?
The Bali Thai is the simplest. If your scalp is oily, flaky or itchy, the therapist may suggest one of the scalp-cleansing head spas once she has looked at it.
Q Are the essential oils extra?
The oils you pick at the start are listed at S$15 on the menu; without them, the therapist uses the regular massage oil.
