U Hair
All 3 outlets →U Hair - Junction 8
The newest of U Hair's three salons. Your stylist cuts and colours, an assistant washes, and scalp treatments go to their own therapist, so you're passed between a few people in one visit. A colour with a treatment is a long sitting, so on a tight day book the cut alone.
Come here if
- You'd like a stylist to suggest a cut for your face shape
- Your hair is dry or frizzy from home dye and needs rescuing
- You want a long scalp massage as part of the visit
Maybe not if
- You need a colour done in a short lunch break
What people say
You get what you asked for
Show a photo and the cut comes out close to it, with the length you asked to keep left alone.
Leaving the choice to them
Arrive with no plan and you can leave both the cut and the colour to your stylist.
They explain what they are doing
Before any scalp work the therapist looks over your scalp first, then names each step as she works.
Styling it at home
At the end of a cut, stylists often teach you to blow-dry it yourself, and how to keep the volume at home.
Gentle enough to doze off
The wash comes with a massage of the head and shoulders that people nap through, and scalp treatments happen in a private room with soft music.
Feel cold and someone brings a blanket, there's refillable fruit tea with biscuits, and on a long colour day staff have fetched lunch.
How much selling to expect
Plenty of people hear about a package or membership once near the end, say no, and that settles it.
Several others were pitched by someone other than their stylist, mid-cut or at the counter, and the pitch carried on after they declined.
Hair that needs fixing
Hair wrecked by home box dye has come out soft after the Hair Rescue treatment, and stayed that way after the next wash.
Bringing a child
Parents bring children in for cuts, and the stylist talks to the child directly, even showing a scalp scan to explain why a good wash matters.

Approximate prices from the salon's published menu, checked September 2026. Prices vary by stylist, hair length and products, so confirm with the salon before booking. Add-ons and packages are on their price list. $ to $$$ compares this salon's starting prices with other Singapore salons' published menus for the same treatments: $ is the most affordable quarter, $$$ the priciest. Each menu heading rates its section's lowest full-service price; the price level at the top combines them, so it can sit between the headings. See their full price list ↗
