Vintage Studio VS Salon
All 9 outlets →Vintage Studio VS Salon - Westgate
Vintage Studio opened in 2010 and has nine salons. At this one the work on your hair is usually split: one person cuts, another washes and blow-dries, and someone else runs any scalp or hair treatment. If you'd like one person from start to finish, this team isn't set up that way.
Come here if
- You want a stylist you can keep for years
- You'd like scalp treatments with each step explained
- You want colour chosen to suit your skin tone
Maybe not if
- You'd rather one person did everything from wash to blow-dry

What people say
They explain what they are doing
A scalp analysis tends to come before colour or treatment work, and whoever does it says plainly what your hair needs and what it can do without.
You leave with washing and styling tips for home.
Regulars who stayed
Long-time clients still book the stylist they started with, and when a stylist moved here from another branch, their clients came with them.
Bringing the family
Mothers bring their daughters to share their stylist, a few since the daughters were small.
No hard sell
You can sit through a whole visit without being sold to, even on a promotion-price cut.
At worst you'll hear one mention of a package for your scalp once the work is done.
What changed after a few visits
Clients doing a run of scalp sessions find the itching and oiliness ease as the sessions go on.
Frizzy or limp hair comes out smoother and fuller after the anti-frizz and restructuring treatments.
The small extras
Soon after you sit down someone brings tea, or a mug of Milo with biscuits.
The wash comes with a scalp massage good enough that people return just for a wash and blow-dry.
